YMCA Cheshire provides supported accommodation for those experiencing homelessness or victims of domestic abuse. We also deliver preventative work within the local community for families, children and young people.
The Treasurer will play a key role in supporting the Board of Trustees by providing strategic financial oversight and guidance. Working closely with the senior leadership team, the postholder will help ensure that YMCA Cheshire’s financial resources are effectively managed and aligned with its charitable objectives.
The role involves overseeing budgets, management accounts, and annual financial statements, as well as advising on financial planning, risk management, and long-term sustainability. The Treasurer will also chair the Finance Sub-Committee and work in partnership with the Head of Strategic Finance to ensure strong financial governance across the organisation.
This role is central to ensuring that the charity remains financially robust while continuing to deliver meaningful impact across the communities we serve.
