What is the distance of the run and what time does it start?

It's a 10k run, and it starts at 9am on Sunday 25th October 2026.

How much does it cost to book and what's included?

An exclusive YMCA Cheshire place is only £20 (£12 saving) and includes: Unique themed medal, Chip-timed results, Free race photos, Post-race goodies, YMCA Cheshire t-shirt. Results will be available online immediately after the race.

What is the registration fee for and how do I fundraise?

Your registration fee secures your place in the event. All sponsorship and donations made go directly to help our YMCA continue to support those most in need. After registering for the event, you can set up a JustGiving fundraising page.

What is the terrain like on the route?

The route features an elevation of 52m and the terrain is Road.

There is no specific event parking. There is a large new multi-storey car park on Delamere Street, which is anticipated to be open on Sundays by the event date. Alternatively, Crewe train station is approximately a 20 minute walk from the event village.

Who can participate in the event?

The minimum age for participants is 15 years and above. Spectators of all ages are more than welcome; we advise staying in the event village to catch the start and finish.

Will there be somewhere I can securely store my belongings or a bag drop?

There will be a secure area where you can leave your baggage. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number—simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect it, show your number to the event staff.

Starting and finishing in the town centre, this closed-road race offers a fast and flat route ideal for runners of all abilities, whether you’re aiming for a personal best or enjoying your first-ever 10K.

The event village will be based at the Royal Arcade, a brand-new space in the heart of Crewe. This central location sets the stage for a vibrant race-day atmosphere and offers easy access for participants and spectators alike.
