Each year we rely more and more on the income we can raise through donations, fundraising events, and sponsorship to continue providing vital support for individuals, families and communities in Cheshire. From money raised by individuals taking part in sponsored challenges, to churches and community groups making annual donations, every pound we receive is helping to raise awareness of our work, and helping us change lives.
In the past, our community have helped to support our work by:
We have many options for Corporate Support including project specific support opportunities, sponsored event participation, and meeting room hire. In return, we can offer businesses great opportunities for staff engagement and team building, which will help boost the emotional and mental wellbeing of your colleagues, as well as enabling you to build your reputation as a socially responsible company.

Supporters who make a regular monthly donation towards our work are an integral part of our service. These regular donations help fund the work we are currently delivering, and enable us to plan for the future.
As a YMCA Roomsponsor, your regular donation can support young people to feel safe, secure, and positive about their future. It will enable us to continue working alongside our residents to rebuild their physical and mental health and wellbeing, as well supporting them to access training, education and employment.
By becoming a Roomsponsor, you’ll get regular, real feedback from the young people who are turning their lives around, thanks to your regular donation. You’ll also receive a welcome pack and thank you gift.
For more information about joining the Roomsponsor scheme, please email josh.walker-brooks@ymcacheshire.org.uk.
Volunteering with YMCA Cheshire gives individuals living in our local community the opportunity to play a vital role in enabling us to deliver many of our services.
We have volunteers supporting us across all areas of our service, including our After School Clubs and Holiday Villages, and our GLO Café. Roles are flexible, and our Volunteers Co-ordinator, Laura, works with new volunteers to agree a role and time commitment that works for them.
As well as regular volunteering, we also have opportunities for volunteers to support us on a one-off basis, with roles supporting fundraising events throughout the year.
Volunteering is a fantastic opportunity to give back to your local community, while also building skills that can help you progress into training and employment.

We are always grateful to our local community who regularly donate items including toiletries packs, toys, Christmas presents, and arts and crafts materials. They are always gratefully received by both our residents staying with us at Gresty Road, and our service users in the local community. These donations can help to build confidence and self esteem, and show that someone cares.
If you are thinking of ways to support us, and would like to find out how to arrange a collection in your school, community group or workplace, please contact josh.walker-brooks@ymcacheshire.org.uk.
Alternatively, we can provide a list of items needed for many of our service users moving into permanent accommodation, such as cooking equipment and bedding. These items are always crucial to ensuring their move into their new home is successful. For more information please contact info@ymcacheshire.org.uk.
