We are so excited for our next FREE Community Meal

We are so excited for our next FREE Community Meal on Friday 15th May! Whether you’re a regular face or visiting us for the first time, our doors at GLO Café are open to everyone.

Our meals give us all a chance to sit down, share a story, and make new friends over a delicious plate of Chicken Tikka Massala or Veg Balti.

Next month’s meal will be extra special as part of the A Million Acts of Hope campaign. In a world that can feel divided, we want to shine a light on the kindness happening right here in our community.

Happy #EarthDay! 🌍 Today, we’re throwing it back to last year’s incredible garden transformation at YMCA Cheshire, made possible by the amazing team at B&Q. 🌿

From planting 17 fruit trees to building raised beds and filling the space with vibrant plants, this project was about sowing seeds for a greener future. Since then, we’ve loved watching our residents get stuck in, growing their own veggies and enjoying fresh fruit straight from the branches! 🍎🥦

Gardening doesn't just help the planet by supporting local biodiversity; it brings us together as a community.

Last Friday, we hosted a community meal to celebrate the soft relaunch of GLO Enterprises. Whether it’s through our Café, Hub, or Maintenance team, GLO Enterprises is all about creating local jobs, building skills, and keeping our vital YMCA services running. Seeing everyone chatting and laughing around the tables was a huge reminder of why we do this. 💚

Some extra exciting news? GLO Café has been nominated for Best Café at the 2026 @englandsbusinessawards! ⭐️
